Since our humble beginnings, our business has seen staggering growth. We can only contribute our success to first and foremost the lord, being faithful to God’s word. By putting Him first and honoring Him, he has truly blessed us in every way possible. Plus, the support, love and help from our families, and the dedication of our wonderful employees that we have also been blessed with. Not only has our business grown, but the Sullivan’s family as well. Our family includes, three wonderful sons and three loving grandchildren. We firmly believe that the road map to follow in all that one does to find happiness and success is found in Matthew 6:33 which reads “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”. We are a family-owned business dedicated to the Lord and His Word.
Both of us have been actively involved with the International Guild of Candle Artisans (I.G.C.A.) for many years and have won awards in the national candle competitions. We have traveled, taking candle making classes all over the US since 1980 and are always experimenting with new and complicated candle making techniques. In 1991 we won the “Most Popular Entry Award” that rarely was ever given out, for a 35 lb. Smurf Village Candle. We both have taught candle making classes and given lectures on candle making safety at this national candle convention. We love demonstrating our candles carving in front of our customers and allows them to watch their custom candle being made. It’s a unique one-of-a-kind process produced through visual on-site presentation of our Custom Carved Candles.
We also operate a national wholesale division from our warehouse, including candle making classes, fund raising programs, continued new product development, plus a subsidiary Candle Home Party business. We teach our candle-making course as a business to many Entrepreneurs from all over the world with great success. Our company offers three tiers of extensive personal training in different levels of candle carving. We also enjoy an old hobby of painting in hot dyed wax, known as Batiking.
